Adonis Watkins
Born in New York City but bred in the West Indies, Adonis Watkins is a product of both American and English systems of education. The many values that he has gained from this combination of schooling are made prevalent by his many achievements as a student and an individual.
Thus far in his academic career, Adonis has been awarded several different academic scholarships including the O'Melveny & Myers scholar Award and the Posse Scholar Award. Currently a junior at Brandeis University, his main field of concentration is Politics with minors in Economics and Business. With the skills he has learned within these fields of study, Adonis has had the opportunity to work for firms such as Lehman Brothers and HSBC, in his hope to become an investment banker. Outside of his professional and academic career, Adonis does various things for Brandeis and the community as a whole. Currently he is a supervisor for the Brandeis Campus Center Team. He is also very active in community service. In New York City, he mentors urban youth in both academic and professional capacities. While in London, he has also devoted his time to cancer research. Adonis hopes to extend his hand to community service opportunities in others part of the country and the world in the near future.
Impressed with his views, his maturity, and his financial experience, the Treasurer has personally asked Adonis to join the Office of the Treasurer as one of Assistant Treasurers.
